The RFI-400 Liver Fiber Identifier can be a capital addition to any fiber installer and plant manager. Modern datacenters and network hubs have increasing numbers of fiber installed. Tracing and picking correct fiber for routine work can take much longer than anticipated without the RFI-400 tool. The Fiber Identifier is a necessity tool that should not be missing from any fiber plant manager or fiber optic installing technician. RFI-400 includes also an Optical Power Meter detecting light between 6 and -70dBm, which can come handy to check for attenuation on a specific circuit. The Fiber identifier tool works on any type of fiber (thickness of .25mm to 3.0mm).
RFI-400 can identify dark and active fiber for any wavelength between 800nm and 1700nm.
RFI-400 comes with a belt pouch. Two AA batteries are required to operate the tool, batteries are NOT included. Standard ferrule connector has 2.5mm for the OPM embedded tool suitable for SC, ST and FC optical connectors. For 1.25mm ferrules a separate optical ferrule adapter must be purchased.
