    • DWDM

    DWDM stands for Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing. It is a technology that allows a high number of simultaneous wavelengths (channels) to travel over the same optic fiber, thus enhancing the capacity of the fiber. The combination is possible by using passive optical filters (mux/demuxes). There are currently 45 DWDM channels being mostly used in the 100GHz ITU grid spacing under the C-Band (1525~1565nm) and another 55 channels under the L-Band (1565~1610nm). We have transceivers available for all the C-Band channels with Digital Diagnostic Monitoring features (SFF-8472 compatible) in a multi-rate 2.67G format. We can also provide L-Band channel SFPs, for such wavelengths please contact us for availability.
